Look Who’s New: John Lawson

19570677982_a2420465e0_nLouisville, KY (July 10, 2015) – John Lawson has been appointed as a new agent with Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) Insurance at Rockcastle County Farm Bureau. Lawson’s appointment was announced in Louisville by Chuck Osborne, Vice President of Agency Support & Marketing for KFB Insurance.

Lawson, a native of Rockcastle County, graduated with a degree in risk management insurance from Eastern Kentucky University. Prior to his employment with KFB, Lawson was self-employed as a farmer and selling firewood.

In his new position, Lawson will be calling on the residents of Rockcastle County to offer a wide variety of insurance coverage through KFB Insurance. He will work with Agency Manager, Marlene Lawson, and the staff at Rockcastle County Farm Bureau located at 1325 South Wilderness Road, Mt. Vernon, KY 40456, and can be reached by phone at 256-2050.

Lawson joins a well-established network of approximately 400 Kentucky Farm Bureau agents statewide. The company, founded in 1944, has offices in all of the commonwealth’s 120 counties. Farm Bureau markets a wide variety of insurance lines, from homeowner’s and automobile coverage to life and health insurance and retirement planning.

The insurance services are affiliated with Rockcastle County Farm Bureau, one of the largest membership organizations in the county. Farm Bureau members have access to a variety of membership services, including discount buying programs, college scholarships, farm marketing, and leadership development activities.
