Please keep the Chrisman Family in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn the passing of Mr. Eric Chrisman, son of state Board member Mr. Randy Chrisman. Eric, age 23, died yesterday in an automobile accident while on duty.
Trooper Eric Chrisman, age 23 was killed Tuesday evening in a vehicle crash near Kentucky Dam in western Kentucky.
Chrisman, of Lawrenceburg, was apparently on duty at the time of the wreck.
He is a son of Randy and Dawn Chrisman of Lawrenceburg.
TV station WPSD is reporting that the wreck occurred around 6:15 p.m. on U.S. 62 between the U.S. 641 Interchange at Kentucky Dam Village State Park in Marshall County and the Kentucky 451/Dover Road interchange at Lake City in Livingston County.
Chrisman was one of four Lawrenceburg men who graduated from the State Police Academy earlier this year. He was assigned to Post 1 in Mayfield.
