We are mgc group and we are managing the group benefit package being introduced through KFBIAA. Members of the association will be able to begin enrolling now through April 15th. You should have received a packet from our office that included a welcome letter, benefit booklet and a “How to register” postcard that explains how to log on to our system to see prices, get product information and to enroll. If you did not receive this packet let Holly Vielhauer know at: holly@mgcfirst.com or call her at 816-753-7372 and she we will send one to you.
It is important to note, this initial open enrollment is your only opportunity for Guarantee Issue, meaning no medical questions, for Life/AD&D, Critical Illness/Cancer and disability. These are also the products where we will need to exceed a 50% participation rate. Please don’t overlook these thinking you will be able to enroll and automatically be accepted at a later time. After the initial open enrollment you will have to submit Evidence of Insurability.
By the end of the week you will begin receiving emails inviting you to attend informational webinars explaining the features of the benefits we are offering. We will have several webinars covering various products available for you to attend throughout the next several weeks.

We have also begun meeting with agents throughout the state and would like to meet with as many as we can before the end-of-this month. You are free to enroll anytime; however, if you have questions you can set-up one-on-one meetings over the phone and we will be happy to help you. We also hope to see most of you at the sales meeting on March 29th in Louisville. We will have several enrollers available for individual meetings at the following times on:
March 28th from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
March 29th from 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
March 30th from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
